Speaking of Silver Dollar City, the absolute amount of Christmas Lights you will find in Branson during the holiday season will set your heart alight with wonder! Not only will Silver Dollar City have their own lights, but the entire town will be lit up with beautiful displays of holiday cheer! Spend some time going around Branson to see all of the wonderful light displays which makes for a fantastic family activity. The Polar Express
If you’re a fan of the wonderful kids movie, “The Polar Express”, then Branson has the perfect thing for you. Each year the Branson Scenic Railway puts on a train ride based on that very movie! This is the perfect attraction for kids as each passenger will receive their own hot chocolate and cookie! You’ll also be able to catch Santa reading parts of the book during the train ride! Adoration Parade
Each year the Branson community comes together in order to participate in the Adoration Celebration and Parade, which really shows off the true meaning of the holidays! During one special night, locals and visitors come together to celebrate the Christmas story. You’ll find yourself enjoying wonderful Christmas music, a float parade, and even the 28-foot tall nativity scene which was refurbished to its original glory in 2012! The nativity scene can be seen from miles away and has become the symbol for Christmas in the Ozarks!
